Verification of the subjective requirements

The Registry at any time for its own purposes or at the request of a third party to protect their rights, may verify that the Registrant of a domain name satisfies the requirements that originally led to the allocation of the domain name. The Registry transmits the request to the Registrant by registered delivery. The Maintainer that manages the domain name is also notified of the matter via email. In this case, the Registrant must submit to the registry within 10 days of receipt of the request, a copy of an identity document in the case of a natural person or equivalent document proving the existence of the assignee.

The request must be sent only in the Italian version. The English version is available only for a better comprehension of the document.

English version (not to be sent):

Registrant-hold

This status identifies a domain name for whose use the Registrant has been judicially challenged. The Registry removes the proxies to authoritative nameservers for the domain name in question. This means that the domain name is no longer visible on the Internet, but the domain name remains assigned to the Registrant. The Registrant may request the revocation of the status of "REGISTRANT-HOLD" at the conclusion of the judicial proceedings that led to the domain being put in that status.

Along with the request to transfer to Registrant-Hold, appropriate documentation should be attached to prove that the assignee of the domain name has been judicially challenged regarding the use of the said domain name.

The LAR must be sent only in the Italian version. The English version is available only for a better comprehension of the document.
