Changing the service provider: from Registrar (synchronous) to Maintainer (asynchronous)

Overview

The operation allows a Registrant to change the service provider for their domain, from a Registrar (synchronous system) to a Maintainer (asynchronous system).
First a new Maintainer must be chosen (find MNT). The Registrant sends to the .it Registry a paper-based request to change the Maintainer / Registrar, indicating the tags of the old and the new service provider.

Select and fill in the form

Depending on whether the Registrant is a natural person or an entity other than a natural person (public bodies, companies, associations, individuals with a VAT number, etc), use the appropriate form:

The request must be sent only in the Italian version. The English version is available only for a better comprehension of the document.

Change of Maintainer/Registrar forms sent via email or delivered by hand are not accepted.
The Registry examines the request and the electronic form sent by the new Maintainer. If the data are correct, the Maintainer is changed.
