Transfer

A Maintainer has the option to transfer the contract to another Maintainer, but must give the Registry at least one month's notice.

The Maintainer that takes over the contract must:

• inform all assignees of the change;

• submit within the same period, the acceptance of the clauses of the contract in duplicate.

The transfer is subject to the explicit acceptance of the IIT-Registry.
From 1 July 2010 it is no longer possible to draw up "Maintainer" contracts, i.e. contracts for asynchronously registering .it domain names. All contracts expire on 31 December 2010.
