Transfer

A Registrar has the option to transfer the contract to another Registrar, but must give the Registry at least one month's notice. 

If the person who takes over the contract is not a Registrar, then they must first pass the accreditation test and make the payment following what is set out in Schedule A of the contract.

The Registrar that takes over the contract must:

• inform all assignees of the change;

• acquire the documentation held by the transferor relating to the registration and maintenance of the domain names themselves and ensure that transfers of personal data are carried out in accordance with the law;

• submit within the same period, the acceptance of the clauses of the contract in duplicate.

The transfer is subject to the explicit acceptance of the IIT-Registry.
