On December 4th at 5:00 PM, the series of live sessions on the Registro.it LinkedIn page returns with the second appointment titled “Promoting Made in Italy worldwide: your online strategy for internationalization”.

The guest of this session will be Barbara Carini, Head of News Business at East Media and an expert in Far East markets, who will guide SMEs through a practical path to transform their online presence into a true passport for global growth. The goal is to show how promoting Made in Italy beyond national borders means communicating online with credibility, consistency, and a targeted digital strategy.

As always, the live session will be moderated by Massimo Fellini (journalist, content creator, and expert in innovation and artificial intelligence), who will engage with the guest in exploring tools and approaches useful for digital export.

Internationalization is no longer just an ambitious goal for a few well-structured companies: today, it is an almost mandatory step for many Italian SMEs looking to grow beyond national borders. Doing it effectively requires informed choices, skills, and a credible, consistent digital presence suited to target markets. In this session, companies will be guided through the challenges and opportunities of bringing Made in Italy to the world through digital channels.

The session will start with the basics, such as the website as an international business card, and the difference between simple translation and true cultural localization, and will delve into non-Google markets like China and Korea, where dedicated strategies and tools are needed, from streamlined landing pages to platforms like WeChat.
Common SME mistakes, cultural barriers that hinder export paths, and the crucial role of professional skills will also be discussed. Additionally, the session will explain how to measure online credibility and how visibility in search results is changing today as artificial intelligence - from Gemini to ChatGPT - affects access to information, rewarding content that is updated, authentic, and well-structured.

Through practical advice, concrete examples, and a look at the technologies that are reshaping how companies enter new markets, the session will provide a practical guide to navigate challenges, avoid costly mistakes, and build a solid, strategic, and sustainable international presence

The session, lasting one hour, is part of a series of five monthly appointments dedicated to professionals, owners, and employees of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on current digital topics, with emphasis on internationalization, operational tools, security, strategies, and new technologies useful for businesses.

The first live session, titled “‘Smart’ and identity-driven domain names, thanks (also) to artificial intelligence”, was broadcast during Internet Festival, officially launching the series.
