"'Italia .it" is dedicated to the study on Internet diffusion in Italy conducted by the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the CNR: this research, unique in Europe for its methodology, is founded on the data of the Registro .it and makes a comparison between the .it domain names registered by Italian provinces and regions with those related to the resident population of age and the number of firms existing across the territory
