At the end of the year, in Milan the Registry celebrated one of the most important birthdays of its long history: 30 years since the first registered domain name (cnuce.cnr.it). The event saw the participation of many important guests, who retraced their professional and personal stories associated with the Internet and digital Italy in general.
“Nabbovaldo, or rather the seasons at Internetopoli” by Gabriele Peddes is the title of the new issue of Comics&Science dedicated to the teenagers of today, based on the story that won the .itContest, the schools competition sponsored by the Registry to celebrate thirty years of .it.

New stage at Lecce, on 29 October, for the events organised by the Registry for companies and freelance professionals. “Strategy pays: integrate Facebook and email marketing and multiply your results” is the title of the workshop organised in cooperation with the Festival Conversazioni sul Futuro.

"Nabbovaldo, or rather the seasons at Internetopoli”, a compelling story inspired by the genius of Italo Calvino, written by a group of young pupils from Pisa province, has won the national .itContest competition. The competition promoted by the Italian Registry was won by the 1st year class of the Middle School "Anna Pardini" of Lajatico. They will receive the 1000 Euro "big cheque" prize for the winner, which can be spent on teaching materials.
