An autumn full of activities and events for Registro .it, which always puts enterprises (SMEs) and online business at the centre of its communication. The 2021 season of Piccole Medie Digitali, a regular commitment, for some years now, to talk to medium and small enterprises about digital transformation and online business, as an opportunity for growth and investment, is coming to an end.
The Second Quarter of Registro .it has been published, reporting on the past 4 months (May-August), with data, new projects and events, to illustrate the opportunities offered by the Internet. Entrepreneurs and freelancers, students, parents and teachers are the main targets of the communication campaign (the first ones), to improve their business with an online presence, and the process of spreading digital "education" (the second ones) carried out by the Ludoteca project.
The episode of “Futuro24” aired on November 30th, registered at the CNR headquarters in Pisa, “told the story” the .it Registry and some of the numerous activities and research of IIT.
In the broadcast there were interviews with: Domenico Laforenza, Giorgia Bassi, Filippo Lauria and Maurizio Tesconi.
Piccole, Medie, Digitali(Small, Medium, Digital) is the name of the Registro .it Road Show which will get going on 26 October with its first stage in Lecce during the Festival Conversazioni sul Futuro at the Officine Cantelmo from 16:00 on.
On July 27 the new ARP portal for the new Registrars’ accreditation was published: it has a new look, there are some improved existing functions and above all there is a new function of accreditation for the registration through DNSSEC. The Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) guarantees the security and the reliability of the information of the DNS systems (this protocol, through the use of names, and not numbers, allows us to surf the Internet easily).
From 20 September 2018 all Italian schools of all types and levels of public and private can register their edu.it domain name.
Now online the first Quarter of 2018 with all the .it info from January to April. From news and events, facts and figures of the Ludoteca to seminars organised inside and outside the CNR area. In addition, there is the latest from ICANN and CENTR on other domains and extensions and a detailed look at the compliance of Registro .it with the new GDPR regulations.
The last period of the passed year was very busy, full of events and activities: among them, the most relevant was the celebration of the thirty years of .it, culminated with the special event in Milan (at ‘La Pelota’). Furthermore: updates on the Internet Festival, the new Registry comic strip, the numbers of the Ludoteca and ‘Internetopoli’.
