EDU.IT: Italian schools have a new identity on the internet
From 20 September 2018 all Italian schools of all types and levels of public and private can register their edu.it domain name.

Now online the first Quarter of 2018 with all the .it info from January to April. From news and events, facts and figures of the Ludoteca to seminars organised inside and outside the CNR area. In addition, there is the latest from ICANN and CENTR on other domains and extensions and a detailed look at the compliance of Registro .it with the new GDPR regulations.
The last period of the passed year was very busy, full of events and activities: among them, the most relevant was the celebration of the thirty years of .it, culminated with the special event in Milan (at ‘La Pelota’). Furthermore: updates on the Internet Festival, the new Registry comic strip, the numbers of the Ludoteca and ‘Internetopoli’.

At the end of the year, in Milan the Registry celebrated one of the most important birthdays of its long history: 30 years since the first registered domain name (cnuce.cnr.it). The event saw the participation of many important guests, who retraced their professional and personal stories associated with the Internet and digital Italy in general.

The new version of the statistics section of our site is now online. In addition to having a totally renewed graphical interface, it also has new features.
.itCup Registro, the competition for startups promoted by the CNR, ends the 2017 edition with the victory of Ludwig, the first linguistic search engine that helps to write correctly in English. The final, held in Rome, Thursday 26 October, in the presence of the CNR President Massimo Inguscio, starred the six startup finalists chosen in July from more than a 100 project entries, and who had already undergone three days of intensive training in Pisa in mid-October.
New stage at Lecce, on 29 October, for the events organised by the Registry for companies and freelance professionals. “Strategy pays: integrate Facebook and email marketing and multiply your results” is the title of the workshop organised in cooperation with the Festival Conversazioni sul Futuro.
