The cannon shot has gone off! As from today, 5 May 2017, the sixth edition of the .itCup organized by Registro .it is on its way. At the stroke of midnight, the traditional startup competition celebrated the official start of the call for entries, the registration phase, which is open until 23.59 of 3 July 2017. So to register for the 2017 edition there are 60 days. The competition is open to both already legally constituted startup companies and also groups of young persons with business ideas still at the developmental stage, as long as they are relevant strictly to the ICT sector.
The third issue of the Quarter .it is out. The Registro .it in short with events, projects and news (even from the international world of domains) dealing with the last four months of 2016.
Internet Festival 2016 – “These small giants. Are Italian businesses grasping all the opportunities offered by the Web?” In this event organised by the Registro .it, Gianluca Diegoli (digital marketing expert and Registro .it consultant), Domenico Laforenza (director of the CNR’s Istituto of Informatics and Telematics which is responsible for the Registro .it) and Luca De Biase (journalist working for “Il Sole 24 Ore”) highlighted the current situation of Italian businesses in respect of Internet use and the importance of online business. They also explained how to acquire a digital identity through an .it domain and how an Italian Internet name can typify a company in both the material and digital worlds, forging an automatic identification with the “Made in Italy” brand.
The watchword is participation. And the grand prize is a big one: one thousand euros for the winners' school, for the purchase of technological materials for teaching
