On November 20, in Utrecht, the Ludoteca of Registro .it took part in the GALA Conference, the international event dedicated to promoting game-based tools for education.
From October 16 to 18, Perugia will host the first edition of the International Festival for Gender Equality, an event that blends education, culture, and outreach to promote a fairer future and address the issue of gender equality in a positive and constructive way: sharing and exploring best practices, innovative ideas, and initiatives aimed at driving meaningful change.
In May 2021, the Ludoteca del Registro .it project - set up to spread Internet culture and educate young Internet users on the use of the Web and digital tools - will celebrate its first decade of life. To celebrate this birthday, three events will be held, on 6, 12 and 17 May; the Ludoteca’s staff, CNR researchers and experts from various backgrounds will participate to discuss digital education and cybersecurity.
On 11 February, the Registro .it's Ludoteca will participate for the first time at the Safer Internet Day (SID) as a member of the Generazioni Connesse's Italian Safer Internet Centre (SIC) Advisory Board, a partnership obtained at the end of 2019 and signed with the SIC, a project coordinated by the Ministry of Education and a national contact point for Internet security initiatives.
The fun workshop of Registro .it will be part of the first, new appointment on conscious innovation, which will be held annually in Castiglioncello (LI), Tuscany. The Ludoteca, which for years has conveyed the correct use of the Net among the youngest Internet users, will participate with some games on cybersecurity, focusing on any potential risk incautious Internet users may incur.
Talentika Summit was created to talk about innovation, with an open door to the debate with protagonists and experts.
On February 5th, in Milan, the Registro .it Ludoteca will take part in the Safer Internet Day with a workshop entitled ‘Network tools and computer security’. On this occasion, a global day dedicated to online security, the Registry experts, Giorgia Bassi and Beatrice Lami, will present the Ludoteca project and the latest laboratories dedicated to cyber security.
“Let's bit!” is a peer education project of the Registro .it Ludoteca which connects two generations of digital natives: second-grade school students and primary school children. Respectively, the first group - trained and supported by the Ludoteca staff - instruct the younger pupils on the mindful and correct use of the Internet.
On 25, 26 and 27 September the Ludoteca of (www.ludotecaregistro.it) took Let's Bit! to Albania in the bilingual Italian-Albanian section of "Liceo 28 Nentori" High School in Scutari.
News for Internetopoli, the web app of the Registro .it Ludoteca, conceived as an edutainment tool to introduce themes related to digital culture into primary schools.The new navigation is online, and it also includes a section dedicated to fun interactive games.
It was a day of celebration on 23 May at Registro .it. After a two and a half month long itinerary, the Ludoteca Roadshow, created to commemorate and tell the story of the thirty years since the first .it domain name, came to an end. It was the ideal moment to celebrate the success of the Roadshow in the CNR Research Area of Pisa.
