On 24 March, the Ludoteca of Registro .it will participate in an event entitled "By playing and reflecting, we learn the value of our personal data", organised by the Rights and Privacy Protection Association (Associazione di Promozione Sociale, APS), member - like the Ludoteca - of the Advisory Board of the Safer Internet Centre-Connected Generations, Italian Ministry of Education and Merit (Ministero Istruzione e Merito, MIM).

The initiative, designed to encourage dialogue between different generations and compare them, will be divided into two moments:

- a morning session (from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), reserved for teachers and classes of the SMS Teresa Franchini First Grade Secondary School. During the morning there will be the laboratories of computer security and digital citizenship of the Ludoteca of Registro .it held by Giorgia Bassi and Beatrice Lami: a playful training course that, through games such as "We play with the Ludoteca of Registro .it!" and “Don’t be a goose: protect your data,” will involve students with activities based on video games, comic boards, cards and mimes. Starting from the definition of personal data, pupils will be guided on a simple and engaging journey to discover the value of information about them and, above all, how to protect it when using the web. Through concrete examples and good practices, students will learn how to browse safely, consciously and responsibly. The session will end with a new shared awareness: protecting one's own digital identity is possible through simple but fundamental everyday behaviours

- an afternoon session (from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), panel open to the public. In the afternoon there will be a meeting dedicated to the theme of information security education, interpreted as constructive dialogue between generations. The experts of the Rights and Privacy Protection Association APS and the Ludoteca of Registro .it will participate, for an open discussion on the strategic importance of cybersecurity in contemporary society. The debate will provide a forum for exchange between parents, educators, citizens and specialists to reflect on effective teaching tools and methodologies that will help to share knowledge and good practices with the new generations. The meeting will also be an opportunity to share what emerged during the morning session with students, fostering a true path of shared growth between adults and young people.
