From 23 to 25 October, Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to technological innovation, returns to the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome. The fourteenth edition will showcase projects in the fields of electronics, artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual and augmented reality, gaming and education, bringing together students from schools of all levels, businesses, investors, experts and technology enthusiasts.

Ludoteca of Registro .it will take part in all three days with the workshop “The SuperCyberKids Platform”, delivered by Giorgia Bassi, the Ludoteca’s project coordinator, and Beatrice Lami, both from Registro .it, together with Ilaria Matteucci, a researcher in the Trust, Security and Privacy Unit at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the CNR (CNR-IIT).

SuperCyberKids is a European Erasmus+ project coordinated by the Institute for Educational Technology (CNR-ITD) and implemented in collaboration with CNR-IIT and a network with a network of international partners. It promotes cybersecurity education among children aged 8 to 13. At the heart of the project is a gamification-based e-learning platform featuring missions, levels, scores, interactive materials and video games, alongside tools and guidelines designed to support teachers in classroom activities.
