From October 16 to 18, Perugia will host the first edition of the International Festival for Gender Equality, an event that blends education, culture, and outreach to promote a fairer future and address the issue of gender equality in a positive and constructive way: sharing and exploring best practices, innovative ideas, and initiatives aimed at driving meaningful change.
Among the participants is the Ludoteca of Registro .it, which will take part in the panel “Youth and the Gender Gap: Overcoming Stereotypes” on October 17.
During the session, the results of the study “Gender Gap Among Youth in STEM”, conducted in 2023 in collaboration with the University of Florence, will be presented. The presentation will also include clips from the series “Women&Informatics”, which highlights prominent female figures in the field of computer science who have often been forgotten by history.
