On 25 March at 5 p.m., the last LinkedIn live session of the Registro .it will be broadcast, the fifth and final episode of the cycle of appointments launched in October during Internet Festival 2025 and aimed at professionals and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises on key issues of digital transformation.
The live broadcast, entitled "Cybersecurity, NIS2 changes everything: greater responsibilities, starting with the Board of Directors", will be moderated - as usual - by Massimo Fellini, journalist and expert in technologies and artificial intelligence, who will be joined by Ernesto Belisario (lawyer, founding partner of the law firm E-Lex and legal expert on innovation and AI issues) and by Donato Molino (President of the Steering Committee of the Registro .it – CIR and President of AssoTLD), and Valentina Amenta (Head of the Legal and Litigation Unit at Registro .it).
The live session will be an opportunity to analyse the new European cybersecurity regulatory landscape.
From 16 October 2024, the implementing decree of the NIS2 Directive came into force, redefining cybersecurity responsibilities at the management level. Boards of Directors are now required to ensure governance, monitor and training on cyber risks, reporting procedures, and incident notification.
In this LinkedIn Live session, we will explore what this means for Italian companies and public administrations, the steps required for compliance by (at the latest) October 2026, and how to turn this compliance into an opportunity for growth and resilience. The panel will compare legal and institutional perspectives to analyse the new rules of the game of an increasingly digital and secure Europe.
