From 24 to 26 June, the Registro .it will be present at BolognaFiere for the 2026 edition of WMF – We Make Future, the international event dedicated to digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and technology.
Once again, the Registro .it will take part with a dedicated space (Hall 30, Stand C35-D34), designed as a place for meetings and discussion with Registrars and digital professionals. An opportunity to explore topics such as digital identity, cybersecurity, and the strategic role of domain names in the evolution of the online ecosystem.
During the event, the Registro .it will also host two in-depth sessions.
On 24 June at 4:00 PM, the session “Cybersecurity and NIS2: from compliance to European digital resilience” will focus on the evolution of the European cybersecurity framework and the new responsibilities introduced by the NIS2 Directive. Speakers will include Andrea Passarella, Director of the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and Head of the Registro .it, and Andrea Rigoni, Founder and Managing Partner of Altirium.
On 25 June at 2:00 PM, the strategic study launched by the Registro .it on the future of domain names and the evolution of online presence in the age of artificial intelligence will be presented. During the session “From data to strategy: the Registro .it study on the future of domain names”, Mirko Bruni, CEO of The Fool, will present the ongoing research and initial insights on the positioning of the .it domain in a rapidly evolving digital context, including digital identity, domain names, AI, and new search and online visibility models
