What a pharmacist does behind the counter, which is not only to sell medicine but to listen to and consult with patients, can also be done through the web, opening new channels of contact (and offering new services, such as free neighbourhood wi-fi) to accommodate clients.
“Online activities are none other than a natural extension of the physical pharmacy”. This is the intuition that inspired Edoardo and Maddalena Schenardi and allowed the Serra Pharmacy to distinguish itself from its competitors and widen its borders.
