"Digitali per caso" 7th episode: Women artisans
Handmade products, unique objects and emerging designers… will they find their place in the digital market? Let’s find out with Patrizio Roversi in this episode of “Digital by chance”!
We have met two female entrepreneurs in Rome, Livia Carchella and Bruna Pietropaoli, who, since 1999, have learned one of the key concepts of the digital transformation: even the smallest business can have great visibility online.
With this in mind, they have created a website to promote women artisans and their products, by not only building an online showcase, but also by supporting a large community of designers and customers, both near and far, who have finally opened a new channel of communication.
The project has further developed in time and a shop was opened in the heart of Rome. This experience teaches us another key concept: a business created online can become an offline business and vice-versa. Physical and real channels are more and more integrated and complementary.
With “Digital by chance” Registro .it promotes the dissemination of digital culture and IT literacy, necessary tools to support local SMEs and the trademark “made in Italy”.
In each episode we will find out how entrepreneurs, artisans, retailers and professionals can develop and manage their online presence to reach new customers worldwide and increase their sales to be more competitive on the market.
