The agri-food sector is one of the pillars of Italian tradition and the Italian economy. Is this situation reflected on the Web? Do companies take advantage of the potential and benefits that the Internet offers nowadays? Is there a Digital Divide also in the agri-food sector?

This project, created for EXPO 2015, aims to understand, evaluate and monitor how much the companies of the sector harness the potential and benefits of the Internet, as well as analyzing the possible existence of a digital divide both in the agri-food field and at a geographical level.

The study will also consider specific areas of the agri-food sector, such as the wine sector, evaluating their presence online also through other extensions.
