From 13 to 31 May, there will be held the 2024 edition of “ALL DIGITAL Weeks”, one of the biggest pan-European awareness campaigns on digital skills for inclusion, empowerment and employment. In collaboration with EURid (European Registry for Internet Domains), the Registro has organised an event, which it will be held on 14 May in Pisa, for second grade secondary schools as part of “ALL DIGITAL Weeks”.

The Pisan encounter, entitled “Internet che awwwentura! – Journey to discover the web and its history”, will be held at the "Benedettine" congress centre (9 a.m. -1 p.m.) and will be divided into two sections: in the first part, students will attend a seminar on the basics of the Internet and domain names, while in the second part they will take a guided tour of the Museum of Computing Machinery (MSC - Museo degli strumenti per il calcolo) to see the exhibition “Hello World!”.

The pan-European initiative, through the organisation of specific online and offline events and training supporting all population groups in the digital transformation, aims at showing the need to provide all European citizens with the digital tools and skills that are fundamental for their studies, work and social inclusion. The campaign is co-financed by the European Commission.
